Graham knows a lot about dating, but not everything. There are plenty of other love and date gurus around and in the interest of sharing, we thought we’d introduce you to some.

Today’s nugget of wisdom from ‘The Date Guy’ is all about ditching your running shoes. 

Quit the gym and get a hotter body

Getting fit has a weirdly powerful effect on your dating life. Obviously you look better naked but it also does something to the way you move, people always pick up on it. The gym is not the answer, it is boring, uninspiring and consequently difficult to maintain. It’s not necessarily the easiest thing, but you have to find an activity that you enjoy, the byproduct of which is fitness. For me, completely out of the blue two years ago I discovered gymnastic rings, but anything from boxing to dancing to cycling, will have a big effect on your social circle and love handles.
